The National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI) recommended that the National Nurse Practitioner Residency & Fellowship Training Consortium be granted initial recognition for a period of five years for Federal recognition as an accrediting agency.

On February 27, 2020 the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI), U.S. Department of Education also known as “NACIQI” heard the National Nurse Practitioner Residency & Fellowship Training Consortium’s (“the consortium’s”) petition for Federal Recognition as an Accrediting Agency by the United States Department of Education.

The consortium has been engaged for several years now in seeking federal recognition and a tremendous amount of time and effort has been devoted to it. The United States Secretary of Education will make a final determination by May 27, 2020.
