The North Georgia Advanced Practice Program (NoGAPP) Residency is Accredited!

We are excited to share that the NoGAPP (North Georgia Advance Practice Provider) Residency Program received its 3-year accreditation from the National Nurse Practitioner Residency and Fellowship Training Program “The Consortium” on July 19th, 2022.

The NoGAPP program is the first FNP residency program in a Federally Qualified Health Center to receive accreditation in the state of Georgia. The partnership is between the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Emory University and MedLink Georgia, Inc. Dr. Bethany Robertson, Clinical Professor at the SON serves as the academic practice partnership liaison and the HRSA project director. Dr. Suzanne Price, DNP, FNP serves as NoGAPP Program Director, (pic on left) and Susan Clark, RN, MSN (pic on right) serves as NoGAPP Executive Liaison, both on behalf of MedLink. Holding the coveted Certificate of Accreditation is MedLink Georgia’s CEO, Dave Ward.

In addition to the accreditation, the program expanded its footprint this year and MedLink Georgia is now partnering with East Georgia Healthcare Center and Community Health Care Systems. The residency will now cover over 38 counties with the ability to supply primary care across a network of FQHC’s.
